Install your EA
- In MT5, choose File → Open Data Folder. Open MQL5 → Experts and create a MQLume folder. Extract the package and copy the EX5 there.
- In Navigator, right-click Expert Advisors and choose Refresh. The EX5 is already compiled; no MetaEditor step is needed.
- Open Strategy Tester (Ctrl+R), choose the EA and use the product’s symbol and timeframe. The parameter guide explains the inputs. Start with a demo environment to explore the controls.
