Test settings
IC Markets; XAUUSD M30; Custom balance-based sizing: Lot=0, Mode=0, PerL=false, AutoLot=false, balance=100 and percent=0.0033. In this configuration, volume is calculated from balance / 100 × 0.0033 and adjusted to the symbol volume rules. AutoLot=false selects this custom formula rather than the separate automatic leverage mode. Other strategy inputs retain delivered defaults. Initial capital US$1,000; leverage 1:1000; execution delay 150 ms; non-visual local tester.
MT5 reported 100% real quotes across 192,346,127 ticks. The sizing coefficient was selected after four tests on this same historical interval; this is in-sample sizing calibration.
