A complete example is often easier to learn from than a blank editor. Start with a free project, locate its files and use the guide to understand how settings connect to behaviour.
Claim the project on MQLume

Explore before changing
Identify the MQ5 source, compiled EA and parameter guide. Find one input you recognise and trace where it is used. You do not have to understand every function on the first day.
